When you need it. Before buying any asset you haven't researched — especially before DCAing into it or subscribing it to Earn. An asset's aggregate liquidity, listing breadth and market-cap rank tell you quickly whether you're looking at an established asset or an illiquid speculation.
Getting started.
- Search the exact ticker; beware lookalike token names — scam tokens imitate real ones.
- Check market cap rank, 24h volume across exchanges, and how many reputable venues list it.
- Use the watchlist to follow assets without opening exchange apps (fewer impulse trades).
