Chainabuse

A free multi-chain scam reporting database. Check addresses and projects against community fraud reports before sending anything.

Chainabuse

What it is. A free, multi-chain scam-reporting platform run with industry backing: users and investigators file reports against addresses, domains and projects, building a searchable fraud database.

When you need it. Before sending crypto to any address you didn't generate yourself — a "guaranteed profit trader" from a chat group, an airdrop site asking you to connect a wallet, an "investment platform" someone romantic recommended. Sixty seconds of checking beats irreversible regret.

Getting started.

  1. Paste the address, domain or project name into the search.
  2. Read any matching reports — pattern and recency matter more than raw count.
  3. Been scammed yourself? File a report: it warns the next target and feeds investigators.

Safety reminder. An empty result is not a clean bill of health — new scam addresses are minted every hour precisely because old ones get reported. Combine checks with the golden rules: nobody legitimate guarantees returns, pressure to act fast is itself the red flag, and blockchain transfers cannot be reversed.
