OKAVG is a content site. We keep data collection to the minimum a website needs to function.
What we collect
- Server logs. Like virtually all websites, our hosting infrastructure records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) for security and reliability. Logs are kept only as long as operationally necessary.
- Aggregate analytics. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, countries) to understand which guides help readers. These statistics do not build individual profiles.
What we do NOT collect
- No account system, no registration, no passwords.
- No collection of names, emails or identity documents.
